Day 17 second day of temptation 

Happy eve before Monday!

Slept in a little this morning. Had a birthday party for my nephew to attend today. Grabbed my coffee and strawberries and did a little prep of veggies for the week 

Lunch time at my sisters I took a bowl of two cups mixed veggies and she planned on having turkey so I weighed out 4 ounces and added it to my veggies with a little simple girl vinagerette. I was so full. I passed on the olives, dips, potato salad and carrot which I love all of them. My nephew (who is 8) was concerned why I didn’t want a piece of his birthday cake. Sweet boy. His mom explained that it wasn’t that I didn’t want it but I am on a  strict diet to make me feel better. I took an apple and sprinkled cinnamon on it while they had cake. I have learned I have to be prepared for temptation. I was ok with that. 

For dinner Craig grilled some shrimp with zucchini, red onion, green pepper and tomatoes. I had my five crackers. Today I only did the five as I forgot to bring them to my sisters. 

I posted a photo on facebook today and got tons of wows!  After I got dressed to go, I walked in the living room and my husbands look was priceless and made me feel great. He said I looked great!  I had bought a new shirt yesterday and shorts. My shirts are normally very big and baggy and I usually wear capris. This shirt was more fitting than I normally wear  

With weight loss comes confidence and I am feeling great!  

Last night I noticed my wedding ring was getting loose and I could move it to the next finger.
