Here is the update for day five. Today has been a bit of a roller coaster of emotions. My anxiety has been running at an all time high. Not sure if it is the weather, body changes or just that I have now been off my medication for a little over a week. About an hour ago I took one of my prescription clonzapam as much as I didn’t want to. Oils were not cutting it today.
Woke up feeling pretty good. I think I slept well. ( as day progressed I still had hangover feeling). I had my morning coffee on the drive in to work. When I got there I had a half of grapefruit for breakfast. By 9:30 I was ready to eat my desk. I have decided strawberries are better option for breakfast because more fiber and bulk. I could not wait for lunchtime to arrive. I tried filling the void with lots of water.
Lunchtime finally came. I had 2 cups of shredded broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower tossed with a homemade (by Craig) blueberry vinagerette and 2 ounces of turkey and a dill pickle . It was pretty tasty. I forgot my five crackers. Dang it!! I then went and walked around kohls to get our food saver so we can prepackage portions and freeze.
Work was busy and the day went pretty fast despite my anxiety. My afternoon snack was an orange
Dinner time I had 4 ounces of chicken coated in crushed Asiago cheese nut thins and 2 cups of frozen green beans. Note to self don’t do that again! That many greenbeans at one sitting wasn’t easy. I used a veggie spice to try to season them. I had five pecan thins and stopped eating the greenbeans. One cup was all I could stomach.
After dinner I worked on cleaning kitchen and getting my orders ready for shipment.
I will probably have a brown rice cake in a little while.
Craig has decided to wait and start his protocol on Monday. He will do high calorie high fat Saturday and Sunday. He doesn’t want to ruin Ashley’s plans of going out for Father’s Day so Monday he will go on restricted with me.
All in all it was a success. I did cheat and weigh myself early because I just had to know if it was working but I will save that surprise for later when it’s time to weigh.
